Motorola VHF Maxtrac 300 Audio Problems?

Has anyone used Motorola Maxtrac 300 VHF repeater and Echolink used as your controller? Sounds like the audio engine is complete and I have all the sliders sound card as low as possible. Do you think something in the radio must be de-tuned? Thank you for KB7PDF ~ Mitch
