Question to rouse operators licenses radio repeater?
Ok, I'm a radio operator and a rousing group of VEC and I are going set up a repeater and I looked and looked for the software and cable to connect our repeater Alinco 8-pin computer ecolink for, and the program echostation, I can only find a supplier or anyone who can help me find one and we want to get this repeater ecolink, and a controller autopatch nice, but without cable / software i cannot get it work, even if you had an experience with the MFJ controller autopatch please tell me how to operate with touch tones, all the useful answers will be very grateful ridicules those who will be declared, THANK-Cody DVM
what you want to make no sense. If you are looking to build a repeater or a repeater SIMPLEX DUPLEX? Simplex is the place where you use a frequency, forward to someone, "repetition" stores the audio and sends it to. Duplex is the place where the receiver transmits real-time on a second (offset) frequency. Echolink is not a repeater – well, sorta is, but it is not. Echolink is more like a PhonePatch a channel VOIP, and everyone is bound to the same chain VOIP … For cable, you have to do that. Hey, you have a ham ticket, show that you "can do". HARC Visit the group to connect the controllers (I think they are Hartford Amateur Radio Association) … and forget that society generally Friggin Junk. In addition, VEC is the coordinator – ARRL, DeVry W5YI … VE is you and your friends. Good luck. I been building RF repeaters since 1976.
